Another Barbados on my roster this month and another surfing lesson to take! I am glad I did too, as it was really windy and the waves were much bigger than usual. We went somewhere different this time, not Surfers Point like usual, but a bay called Cotton House Bay, although surfers call it Freights Bay.
Unfortunately it was too windy and rainy to take pictures, but I’ll delight you of some shots of the night out, the night before, instead
Now there is a story to the blue finger, last week, when I went to Barbados, I got it caught in the shower door. I tried to close the door when it actually slammed on my finger! It was black and blue and twice the size, even after i put it on ice for most of the day!!!
Back in the UK my doctor pierced a hole in my nail with a paperclip, yes OUCH, to release the pressure. so now it doesn’t hurt so much any more but still looks very silly and I may lose the nail
Harbour Lights is an outside bar where you pay an entrance fee of 40 Barbados Dollars (just over 10 quid) in order to drink all you like all night for no extra charge!
They played really good music and you can dance in the sand! With the added risk of then forgetting where you have put your flip flops, but hey… and even the hot dogs and burgers on sale here, have a Bajan theme to it, very tasty indeed (or is that because everything tastes sooooo good when you have been drinking?)
All in this was a very good trip indeed, hope my next one in two weeks is just as good!!!!
